Aliens have always been a good resource when choosing protagonists for a series or movie, being able to be horrible monsters or superheroes, for example. Today we would like to review the best alien movies in the history of cinema, all of the stories that left their mark on the public and critics.

Whenever we think of an alien movie, we always think that they will invade Earth, but that is not always their goal.

ET: the alien is a 1982 film that is undoubtedly the first we all think of when it comes to aliens. A small being from another planet is left abandoned on Earth when its ship returns but it forgets about it. its friendship with a boy, Elliot, captivated millions of people around the world.

2. “Independence Day”

Independence Day is a 1996 film in which Jeff Goldblum and Will Smith try to save the world from an alien invasion on July 4, the day that United States independence is celebrated.

3. “District 9”

District 9 is a 2009 film showing a group of aliens living as refugees on Earth outside Johannesburg in South Africa.

4. “Signs”

Signs is a 2002 film starring Mel Gibson and Joaquin Phoenix in which aliens are about to invade our planet, something that humans suspect thanks to mysterious giant marks that appear in different places.
